- 1973 - Born in Seoul, Korea.
- 1980 - Moved to America.
- 1st Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do at 9 years old.
- Began learning Hapkido at 10 years of age under GM Kim.
- 1992 – Attended University of Houston.
- 2000 – Received Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
- 1997 – Joined Houston Police Academy.
- 2006 – Promoted to Sergeant of Police in the Houston Police Department.
- 2009 – Received 4th Degree Black Belt Certificate.
- 2011 – Received 5th Degree Black Belt Certificate.
